This is the Microsoft network banner exchange. We DO NOT recommend you use this system because to do so you must sign up for a Microsoft passport.

There is great concern in the computer industry over the security of the passport applications. If you feel strongly about keeping any information you supply secure you may want to think carefully before you sign up for a passport.

Finding the Link Exchange program on the Microsoft system can be a challenge in itself. It used to be easy but now it's buried deep in a lot of stuff which they want to sell you to promote your website rather than using a free system. If you are persistent you can make it through, but once in you are still bombarded with purchase offers.

We did not find the system as easy to use as some others (thought to be fair we have not entered the site since they began forcing you to have a passport to do so).

The main advantage to the system appears to be that there are a lot of people signed up for it. However it is not Microsoft’s main business line, we prefer to deal with other companies that have a much more vested interest in banners than just using it as a sideline.
