This company used to offer two sizes of buttons as well as banners which was a great advantage. Unfortunately they have discontinued this option (with no notice to any of the users). They are not very good at keeping users informed of things going on in their company.

Advantages

  • They allow you to have more than one account with the same sign-up. - you need different accounts for each size of banner than you are displaying.

  • You only need one set of code, you don't have to change it every time you add it to another page like almost all the other systems in existance. This can really cut down on the code changing and tracking which number you used last so you don't use the same one again.

  • They offer a 2:1 exchange rate or better

  • Give you 500 banners for joining or adding another account (i.e. site) to an existing account.

  • Allow you to select categories to place your website in and mask banners to your site.

  • Reports are adequate but not very informative.

  • They allow you to have several different banners in rotation at the same time. This is very helpful when you want to test different banners to see their response rate.

  • Banner delivery is sometimes fast.

  • Banners don't come with a logo or wrapper so it appears as just a plain banner. This is an advantage if you prefer not to have things tacked on to your banners.

  • They have a lot of members so you get a variety of banners to show.

  • Can log out of account

Disadvantages.

  • Their website is VERY uninformative. Nowhere on the main section does it tell you what the exchange rate for banners is, or much information about anything at all. It is not a user friendly site, you sort of have to take some things of faith when you sign up.

  • Stats are not that easy to read and understand. It's easy to get confused about which are your adds that have been shown and which are adds shown on your site. A simple text change and some explanation text beneath the stats could put this right immediately but they don't seem to both.

  • Once you have set the categories and targeting for your site you cannot easily change it. YOu have to dig into the information and then send them an email so they can do it (manually I guess). Category It does not even appear on your information so you don't even know what the heck you put in.

  • Banners used to be fast loading, but recently they have become slower. This often means that your page ‘hangs’ before loading and visitors have to wait for it to show up. If you find this happening too often switch to another exchange.

  • No referral service.

Conclusion.

Despite it's drawbacks it does have merit if you want a sleek banner with no stuff around it. It's especially useful if you don't want to be bothered with changing code from one page to another. If they can keep their banners loading fast it's quite a good company despite it's drawbacks with lack of information.
I still quite like this company. The single line of code and fast delivery makes it appealing over some systems that slow.
