BANNER DELIVERY

We cant show you an example of the Banner Delivery banner because the company complained that we were not getting enough banner numbers shown on our site so they deleted our account. No other company has done this. If you have a small site dont even bother with these people of they will likely reject you also. After you have put in all the work to add their code of course!

ADVANTAGES

• Ratio 4:3 at top of page 2:1 at bottom.
  
  
• get 1000 credits for joining
  
  
• Have option so that when someone clicks on a banner on your site it opens a new window to the new site. This way you don't loose the visitor.
  
  
• Offer three different banner sizes (large, tile and button) however they don't tell you what size the darn things are until you ask for the code!
  
  
• You get an account with all three sizes when you sign up. Each with 1000 startup credits.
  
  
• Can have several different banners.
  
  
• Stats are OK, better than some, not as good as others.
  
  
• They do have targeting but it's very general
  
  
• The have ‘blocking’ - you can choose which categories that you want advertising on your site. However it's very general and you can't specify that much.
  
  
• Can log out of account.
  
  

DISADVANTAGES

• Their banner has a HUGE chunk of stuff on the bottom and it takes up a great deal of space (see above). Not elegant and not what most pages are going to want. Even the buttons take a huge amount of space. This does not look so bad in IE but in Netscape it's TERRIBLE!
  
  
• Have a huge chunk of code that they want you to place on page.
  
  
• Each page code must be different. However it uses a random number system so you can't update the code but have to go back to the site and get it to generate a different set each time you want a new banner. Very time consuming.
  
  
• Categories to classify your website are very broad and general. It's not easy to figure out where to put a lot of sites.
  
  
• No referral service that we could find.
  
  
• Not that much information about what they do and how it's done. You have to figure it out as you go around the site. Not the most user friendly site we have seen.
  
  

CONCLUSION

We Really don't like this site. The size of the banners makes them ugly and unwieldy on a site. The huge chunk of code and the need to obtain a new set rather than modify the piece you have makes it time consuming. There are many other companies which offer good services and banners rather than use this one.
However if you like the stuff, go ahead.
